Femme Cover will assist you by paying out a pre-determined lump sum of money upon confirmed diagnosis of certain female cancers. Many medical aid schemes do not have a comprehensive female cancer benefit that covers these illnesses by default.

Femme Cover in 2020:

For Femme 50 it will cost you R110 per month and this option will ensure that a lump sum cash benefit of R50 000 will be paid out to the policyholder, upon confirmed diagnosis of one of the listed female cancers.

Femme 100 will cost you R195 per month, where this option will ensure that a lump sum cash benefit of R100 000 will be paid out to the policyholder, upon confirmed diagnosis of one of the listed female cancers.

*The cancer must be confirmed by evidence of malignancy by a qualified oncologist or pathologist. The female cancers are: cervical, breast, vaginal, uterine, ovarian, bladder and cancer of the fallopian tubes.

The TRA Femme Cover policy:

Provides benefits for the female policyholder only.

Imposes an entry age limit of 65 years.

Imposes a termination date of 65 years.
