World TB Day 2019

World TB day is on the 24th of March annually. It is a day to raise public awareness about the health, social and economic consequences of TB. It is also to set up efforts to end the global TB epidemic. The theme for 2019 World TB Day is: “It’s Time…to keep the promises made at the UN High-Level Meeting on TB …for a world without TB …to treat 40 million people affected by TB by 2022… and to know your TB status.”
