Tips on how to keep healthy and fit over the upcoming festive season

Healthy Tips Cover

During the festive season, it is hard to keep your body fit and healthy. Your Routine is thrown out because of Parties, a lot of alcoholic beverages and days spent lounging around the pool.

Even though it is the end of the year, and we like to relax and treat ourselves, make sure you do not overdo it and maintain what you can. Take a look at these 3 easy steps to follow to help keep yourself on track:

1. Drink a lot of water:

Drinking water with lemon instead of having alcoholic beverages can help. This may seem hard to cut out all alcoholic drinks, but then try to have a glass of water between drinks. During the day as well, try drink as much water as possible.

2. Set aside 15 to 30 minutes for exercise every day:

Take a walk around the block, run around the garden or even try some yoga. This can help not just your body, but relax your mind from festive season festivities.

3. Don’t overindulge:

There is no reason to completely cut out all the festive food favourites, but do not overdo it either. Make sure that you listen to your stomach that you are full. Also, try eating healthy for the rest of your other meals.

These are just three tips which you can follow during the festive season. Make sure that you still enjoy yourself and do not spend your time worrying about what you eat.
