TRA has partnered with ituASSIST in order to bring exciting unique services through the TRA Assist app. The TRA Assist app is available to all main policyholders with an added function of being able to add dependents who are over the age of 18. If you would like to make full use of the app’s services, please ensure your mobile device’s location services are switched on whilst using it.
After downloading the app, the following benefits are available to TRA Gap cover policyholders:
Need a lift? Try out the free Uber service
If you are without a vehicle and require a taxi service, an uber vehicle will be dispatched to take you to your location of choice. The Uber taxi service falls within the same Home Drive benefits, forming part of the 6 free trips per policy, per annum.
Need a lift but stuck with your own vehicle? Try out our free Home Drive service
If you need to be picked up from a location whereby both you and your vehicle are present, TRA Home drive takes both you and your vehicle home. On request, a pair of drivers will be dispatched to your location whereby one driver will drive your car to your predetermined location and the other will follow.
Alone in an emergency? The TRA Panic Button is here to help
The TRA panic button provides clients with 24-hour access to an experienced crisis manager – who will assist you through an emergency. TRA Assist is a reputable emergency support for any client – you will never have to remember another emergency number again.
Tired of lengthy claim submission processes? Submit on the TRA App
Submitting a claim is as easy as using your mobile app (this service cannot be supported with just a phone call). You simply take pictures of the required claims documents on your cellphone, navigate to ‘Submit Claim’ on the app, follow the instructions to upload the photos and submit.
If you are a TRA main policyholder you can update your medical aid information, email addresses etc. on the app. These modified details will be sent to our membership department for them to action the updates on our internal administration system, to ensure that TRA has the latest available details for you.
